400 g ground beef, salt, pepper, sweet paprika, hot paprika, garlic granule, onion powder, approx. 6 tbsp. Mississippi BBQ Sauce Original, approx. 20 slices bacon, apple juice, maple or caramel syrup
Flavor the ground beef with salt, pepper, sweet paprika, hot paprika, garlic granule, onion powder and Mississippi BBQ Sauce Original to your taste. Form about 40 balls out of the ground beef. Wrap each meatball with 1/2 slice bacon. Cook in a closed grill and turn occasionally. Shortly before reaching the desired core temperature, pierce each meatball with a toothpick and dip it in a mixture of 2/3 Mississippi Barbecue Sauce Original, 1/3 apple juice and a bit of maple or caramel syrup. Glaze the Moink Balls for a few additional minutes in the grill (Caution: not above 160 °C, higher temperatues burn the sugar!). Serve with Mississippi BBQ Sauce Original as a dip.
